My strengths are in technical analysis and problem-solving, with a solid background in web development and SEO.
While I don’t have formal qualifications, I’ve learned everything I know through over a decade of running my own business and working in various agency roles.
I’m here to make sure our clients' websites run smoothly all the time, whether through our direct management or by helping them improve their systems.
I also keep a close eye on the technical details, making sure their sites meet Google’s standards for speed and performance.
When I first started in digital marketing, I was young, and very excited that my then skillset of digital graphic editing could contribute to the clients I worked for, and provide me with employment.
I've grown since then, and am still just as excited about generating results for clients, but I also see my role as contributing to making the web a better experience for everyone on the whole, as I evolve and share my learnings.
Dominica, Caribbean + Dive with Sperm whales.
They're the largest toothed predator in the world, have the largest brains of any living creature, they have complex social structures, they're the deepest diving mammal, and their clicks are the loudest sound produced by any animal, louder than a jet engine, and can actually hurt a human.
As a young man, two close mates and I decided to climb Table Mountain, aiming to reach Devil's Peak. I was wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a pair of slip slops.
The hike felt like a chore, and all I wanted was to chill and smoke ciggies. We underestimated the challenge and the time it would take. When we finally reached the top, shrouded in thick, freezing clouds, it felt like an achievement.
With no place to rest, we hiked back down through the night. The trail on the blockhouse side was overgrown with sharp, thorny bushes, and my slip slops kept falling off, leaving my feet scratched and cut.
Despite the pain, the early morning descent was exhilarating, and I still cherish the experience. We arrived back on the main road and walked the 6 kilometres home before sunrise, as none of us owned a car and Uber didn’t exist yet.
