As the lead of sales at Adventure Travel Digital, with an Honours Degree in Marketing, I leverage my strong analytical and communication skills to ensure relentless outreach efforts. My ability to quickly learn new tools complements my role in driving sales performance.
I work closely with the links team and act as a support to achieve our targets. Plus, I manage SEO projects for our clients, always aiming to improve their results through strategic project management.
Digital marketing allows me to work in an environment that requires both logical and creative thinking, which I love to do.
For example, a typical situation that requires a lot of problem solving is "why is traffic increasing on the booking page, but conversions aren't going up?".
Situations like this requires one to think out of the box, yet also be analytical at the same time.
Hiking to Everest base camp. This seems like the ultimate challenge. It's a super intense hike, but one I feel that I would thoroughly enjoy.
It's not just the hike however that attracts me to this, it is more being immersed into the Nepalese culture along the way.
I recently did a very challenging hike in the Cederberg, South Africa, called the Wolfberg Cracks. This was an 8 hour hike and really pushed me to my limits.
Throughout the hike you have to crawl through cracks in a mountain and often scramble over rocks to climb to the other side. However, when we got to the end and eventually summited the mountain, it was totally worth it.
The scenery was beautiful but most importantly I was so proud of myself for finishing something so incredibly challenging and way out of my comfort zone!
